This 1995 GMC TopKick C6500 is #4 of 14 chassis-cab trucks that were modified when new for the 1995 International Tow Show in Orlando, Florida, with the addition of a hydraulically operated Vulcan 896 Futura medium-duty tow system along with the application of a custom white, blue, and red paint scheme. It is powered by a Caterpillar turbodiesel 6.6-liter inline-six that drives a dually rear axle through a six-speed manual transmission. The cab is outfitted with power windows and locks, air conditioning, a Delco radio, and Dark Medium Gray vinyl upholstery, and additional equipment includes chrome 19.5″ wheels, a light bar, side steps, and wide-set side mirrors. With registration history in Pennsylvania, the truck was acquired by the selling dealer in March 2025 and prepared for the sale with an oil change. This C6500 has 13k miles and is offered by the selling dealer in Florida with a clean Carfax report and a clean Pennsylvania title. The truck is finished in white and blue with painted red accent striping that is said to have been applied by custom painter Rod “Hot Rod” Mackenzie. Exterior details include a chrome front bumper and lower trim, dual wide-mounted mirrors, an emergency light bar and rear-facing floodlights, a Lund sun visor, rear mudflaps, and side steps. Paint chips and scrapes can be seen close up in the photo gallery below. The wrecker utility body features a tapered deck and is equipped with a hydraulically operated Vulcan 896 medium-duty boom and underlift stinger system along with dual 6-ton winches, protective flooring, and lockable storage compartments. Eight-lug, chrome-finished 19.5” wheels are fitted with Goodyear G159 tires in the front and Michelin Pilot XZU4 tires at the rear. The truck is equipped with a dually rear axle. Appointments in the cab include a bench seat upholstered in Dark Medium Gray (82V) vinyl as well as a hand throttle control, power windows and door locks, a Delco AM/FM radio, and digital climate control with air conditioning. The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 90-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage. The six-digit mechanical odometer indicates 13k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. A plaque on the glove box denotes this truck as #4 of 14 built for the Vulcan Equipment Company for use at the 1995 International Tow Show. The Caterpillar turbodiesel 3116 6.6-liter inline-six sends power to the dually rear axle through a six-speed manual transmission. The engine oil was changed in preparation for the sale. The Carfax report is free of accident or damage entries.
