This Odyssey EX-L is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 with i-VTEC valve timing and an engine auto stop-start feature, sending power to the front wheels through a 10-speed automatic transmission. The transmission uses shift-by-wire controls, offers a driver-selectable mode, and includes steering-wheel paddle shifters. It is rated at 19 mpg city and 28 mpg highway and carries a 19.5-gallon fuel tank with a locking power fuel flap. The cabin is finished with black leather-trimmed seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and metal-look and chrome interior accents. The driver gets an 8-way adjustable seat and the front passenger a 4-way seat, with a manual tilt and telescoping steering column. The second row is a removable 40-20-40 split bench with Magic Slide, which lets the seats slide side to side and fore and aft, recline, and fold forward. The third row is a 60-40 split bench that folds into the floor, and there are adjustable head restraints throughout. Comfort and convenience features include a power one-touch sliding and tilting sunroof with sunshade, power sliding rear doors, and a power rear cargo door. There is also a HomeLink garage door transmitter, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and illuminated vanity mirrors for both front occupants. A full floor console with covered storage sits up front, along with an overhead console with a conversation mirror. The cabin also has three 12V outlets, front and rear cupholders, seatback storage pockets, a locking illuminated glove box, cargo area lights, and climate ducts under the seats and in the headliner, pillars, and console. For technology, the Odyssey has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an in-vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot, a 7-speaker audio system, two front LCD displays, and a driver information center. Driver-assist and safety systems include adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow and the Lane Keeping Assist System with lane centering. The collision mitigation braking system includes forward collision warning and pedestrian detection. It also has blind spot information, cross traffic monitoring, a backup camera, and automatic high beams. Airbag coverage includes dual-stage front airbags, front seat-mounted side airbags, driver and passenger knee airbags, and curtain airbags for all three rows. Four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, brake assist, hill hold control, an electric parking brake, and tire-specific pressure monitoring round out the safety equipment. Outside, the van wears a black grille with chrome accents, body-colored bumpers and door handles, and a rear lip spoiler. It also has deep tinted glass and front fog lamps. Lighting includes automatic LED headlights with daytime running lights and LED brake lights, plus perimeter approach lights. The heated power side mirrors have integrated turn signals. It rides on 18-inch machine-finished alloy wheels with 235/60R18 all-season tires, with a compact spare stowed inside. The suspension uses front struts and a trailing-arm rear setup, both with coil springs, gas-pressurized shocks, and front and rear anti-roll bars. Steering is electric and speed-sensing.
